YIN KER

Yin Ker was trained in art history at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and INALCO, France. An Assistant Curator at the Singapore Art Museum, she oversees the collection of modern and contemporary Burmese art. Her research interests lie in twentieth-century art in Burma/Myanmar and the region, with particular interest in the construction of art, the artist and art history, as well as modern and contemporary visual arts of Buddhist inspiration. Her earlier projects include Montpellier-Chine, Biennale of Contemporary Chinese Art (Montpellier) and the translation of From Callot to Greuze: French Drawings from Weimar (Weimar, Paris, New York).
